Navajo Nation Housing Assistance Fund

Red Feather Development Group, in partnership with the Navajo Nation Division of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and in coordination with the Navajo Hopi Land Commission Office (NHLO), is advancing implementation of the Navajo Nation Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF) Housing Repair Program.

This program provides critical home repairs and rehabilitation services to eligible Navajo homeowners to address health and safety hazards, energy efficiency needs, structural deficiencies, and overcrowding.

Based on current funding and construction capacity, the program anticipates assisting approximately 48 households during this implementation period. Because funding is limited, not all eligible applicants may be selected, and applications will be prioritized based on documented need and available resources.

As part of program implementation, a portion of available projects will be prioritized for households referred by the Navajo Hopi Land Commission Office, including those located within Hopi Partition Lands and other relocation-impacted communities.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Applications received by March 31 will be included in the first scoring cycle. Applications received after March 31 will be reviewed in subsequent scoring cycles, subject to funding availability.
